Singapore fight gave UFC's Covington strength

Mixed martial arts fighter Colby Covington will face Rafael dos Anjos tomorrow (Singapore time) for the interim Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight (up to 77kg) title at the UFC 225 event in Chicago, Illinois.

The 30-year-old American has been typically brash and outspoken in the lead-up to his fight against dos Anjos, but was in reflective mood in an interview with The Straits Times earlier this week.
