It has been a fruitful sporting year for Sneha Sivakumar, who received her Singapore Schools Sports Council (SSSC) Best Sportsgirl award for squash from guest of honour and marathoner Ashley Liew at the Colours Awards Presentation and National School Games Closing Ceremony, at CHIJ St Theresa's Convent yesterday.

The Secondary 4 student from Raffles Girls' School took part in the SEA Games - where she won the bronze in the women's doubles.

Sneha was one of 50 winners from 18 schools to win the SSSC Best Sportsboy and Sportsgirl award, which is given to the best male and female athlete from 28 different disciplines.
