Former national basketballer Lim Wai Sian (centre, wearing rugby cap) launched his first book titled Rebound: LaoLao's Guide to Giving Up yesterday at his alma mater, the Presbyterian High School. He was joined by his former team-mates and coaches from the Singapore Slingers, a professional team that Lim, now 29, had played for. They included Slingers head coach Neo Beng Siang (third from left), assistant coach Michael Johnson (second from left) and team captain Desmond Oh (fourth from left). The book details Lim's comeback to basketball after a life-threatening head injury in 2010. He recovered and represented Singapore at the 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia before retiring in 2012.
