The Singapore Ice Skating Association's recent success in having an athlete compete at the Winter Olympic Games for the first time has partly inspired another national sports association, as it works towards earning representation at the 2022 edition in Beijing.
Singapore Ski & Snowboard Association (SSSA) president Low Teo Ping yesterday hailed short track speed skater Cheyenne Goh's participation at the Pyeongchang Games in February as a "tremendous inspiration", adding: "If they can do it, we can do the same."
