RASNOV, Romania (AFP) - Japanese teenager Sara Takanashi won the World Cup ski jumping event at Rasnov on Sunday after the competition was reduced to one final jump due to poor weather conditions.

The 18-year-old cleared 95 metres and tallied 121.4 points to pip American Nita Englund (118.3) with overall World Cup leader Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (116.9) of Austria third.

With three events left in the season, Iraschko-Stolz leads Takanashi by 109 points in the overall rankings with Germany's Carina Vogt third, a further 51 points adrift.
