The sailing pair of Rachel Lee Qing and Cecilia Low, who won the 420 Women's World Championship title, have been named the Team of the Year (event).

The other finalists were the national table tennis women's team (Feng Tianwei, Wang Yuegu, Li Jiawei, Sun Beibei) who took bronze in the women's team event at the London Olympics last year, and the six-member women's bowling team of Amanda Ng, Cherie Tan, Daphne Tan, Jazreel Tan, New Hui Fen and Shayna Ng, who took silver at the 2012 Asian Bowling Championships.
