2001 SEA GAMES

Thailand's Nanthana Komwong defeated Singapore's Jing Junhong, fourth at the 2000 Olympics, in the women's singles semi-finals.

2002 C'WEALTH GAMES

New Zealand's Li Chunli, 40, beat world No. 5 Li Jiawei in the women's singles final.

2007 SEA GAMES

World No. 6 Li lost to Malaysian Ng Sock Khim, the world No. 283, in the women's singles preliminary round.
