SINGAPORE - Shooter Martina Lindsay Veloso clinched a bronze in the women's 10m air rifle event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior Cup on Monday.
Competing in Suhl, Germany, the 15-year-old posted a score of 184.3 in the eight-shooter elimination format final. She finished behind Germany's Charleen Baenisch (207.0) and Switzerland's Vanessa Hofstetter (205.3).
The Singaporean, a 2014 Youth Olympic silver-medallist and winner of the senior-level Munich World Cup last year, had qualified fourth for the final with a score of 415.7.
Singapore's other representatives at the event include Ho Xiu Yi (11th), Adele Tan (34th) and Lenice Tan (51st).
