Sharing experiences with Zhonghua pupils


Paralympic swimmer Yip Pin Xiu (centre) and national floorballer Fariza Begum (right) were at Zhonghua Primary School yesterday, as part of Team Singapore's schools outreach programme in the lead-up to the Rio Olympics and Paralympics, as well as next year's SEA Games. The talk was organised by Sport Singapore and the duo spoke to some 1,000 pupils about the challenges of juggling sport with work or school. Yip shared about her Rio preparations, while Fariza talked about her experience as a Zhonghua Primary alumnus. The pupils also joined the athletes for a game of charades.
