Singapore's 4x100m relay sprint team clinched a silver medal at SEA Games in Naypyidaw on Monday.

The team of Muhammad Elfi, Calvin Kang, Lee Cheng Wei and Muhammad Amirudin clocked 39.79sec at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium, 0.04sec behind the victorious Thailand team. Indonesia finished third in 40.15.

It was the third successive SEA Games that Singapore came in behind Thailand in the 4x100m relay.

Their timing is also short of the national record of 39.45.
