SEA Games: Nicole Tan delivers gold in women's 25m pistol, S'pore get team silver

Nicole Tan clinched Singapore shooting's first gold medal at the ongoing SEA Games in Myanmar on Tuesday, winning the women's 25m pistol event.

She beat Malaysia's Siti Nur Mastiah and Vietnam's Trieu Thi Hoa Hong to the top spot.

Tan also teamed up with Teh Xiu Hong and Teo Shun Xie in the team women's 25m pistol (rapid fire) event. They scored 1,699 points, just seven behind gold medallists Vietnam. Thailand were third with 1,695 points.

That brings the shooters' haul at the Games to one gold, four silvers and three bronzes.
