SINGAPORE - Myanmar clinched their first-ever victory in a SEA Games netball competition, beating the Philippines 56-31 at the OCBC Arena on Tuesday.
Myanmar controlled the game throughout, despite the Philippines' determination to make up for their 11-121 capitulation against Malaysia on Monday.
It was a hard-fought victory for Myanmar, with several players from both sides going down injured as both sides feel the strain of playing their third game in as many days. .
Myanmar captain and goal shooter Kyaw Khin Sandar continued her fine form, scoring 45 goals to help her side to the victory.
