SEA Games: Deloitte Singapore becomes third top-tier sponsor for next year's Games

The Singapore South-east Asian Games Organising Committee (Singsoc) have secured its third top-tier sponsor for next June's SEA Games, with international auditing and consultancy firm Deloitte Singapore coming on board.

Unveiled at a ceremony at the Singapore Sports Hub on Thursday, the deal is worth $5 million in cash and kind, consisting financial, tax and IT security advisory services and risk consultancy for the June 5-16 sporting meet.

This partnership also moves the SEA Games organising committee closer to their sponsorship target of $50 million, having now amassed a total of $25 million.

In June, local entities SingTel and the NTUC FairPrice group committed a combined $20 million in sponsorship to the SEA Games, making them the first two top-tier sponsors of the event.

Consisting of four tiers, the sponsorship packages for the Games start at $50,000, while $5 million is enough to meet the required Tier One mark.
