School sports: Triple gold Shirlene Wong leads Singapore Sports School to bowling glory

Shirlene Wong may be just 13, but she exuded the composure of a seasoned veteran as she claimed a hat-trick of wins at the National Schools C Division Bowling Championships. The Singapore Sports School (SSP) Secondary One student won golds in singles, doubles and quartets yesterday at the Orchid Country Club's Orchid Bowl.

Her strong performance also played a key role in helping SSP secure the overall championship, ending the three-year reign of Anglo-Chinese School (Independent).
