SINGAPORE - It was a clean sweep for Raffles Institution (RI) on Friday as they won the boys' sailing titles in all three divisions in the National Inter-School Sailing Championships held at the National Sailing Centre.
In the Laser boys' A Division, RI placed first with 7 points with Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) behind them in second with 20 points. Dunman High School were second runner-up, having 48 points.
Similarly in the Byte boys' B Division, RI came on top of ACS(I) with 6 points while the latter managed 26. In third, Victoria School (VS) bagged 30 points.
It was a similar outcome in the Byte class in the boys' C Division as RI won the title with 10 points, pipping VS (20 points) and ACS (I) (35 points).
Nanyang Girls' High School claimed the Byte girls' B division championship with 7 points, finishing 19 points ahead of Raffles Girls' School (RGS). Tanjong Katong Girls' School came in third, getting 31 points.
But RGS won the Byte girls' C Division crown after finishing with 9 points, ahead of Nanyang Girls' (14 points) and Tanjong Katong (29).
