As she stepped onto the starting blocks for her final 400m race at the Schools National Track and Field Championships yesterday, Diane Pragasam felt more pressure than ever.

The Singapore Sports School student had won this event at the meet every year since 2014 and planned on completing her schools career with a clean sweep.
