Raffles Institution (RI) captain Mustafa Anis Hussain driving fluently en route to his side's victory in the Schools National A Division cricket final yesterday.

RI beat Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) by eight wickets at the Ceylon Sports Club. ACS(I) won the toss and elected to bat first, managing 138-3 in 20 overs.

But when RI replied, Mustafa and vice-captain Abdul Rahman Bhadelia made it possible to chase down the target in just 18.1 overs.

It was RI's eighth A Division title since the sport was introduced in 2007.

The other four titles were won by ACS(I).
