SINGAPORE - There were no surprises at the Schools National B division boys' volleyball final on Thursday as St Hilda's Secondary School beat Dunman Secondary 25-17, 25-15 to retain their title.

St Hilda's landed multiple spikes throughout the match to keep Dunman on the defensive. Though the latter pushed for a comeback in the second set, they only managed to slow the defending champions as St Hilda's charged to victory.

In the girls' final, also held at Woodlands Sports Hall, Jurong Secondary beat Presbyterian High School 25-6, 25-21 in a repeat of last year's final.

The PHS girls put their reflexes to the test as they scrambled to block their opponents' attacks, but in the end it was Jurong who came out on top to win their seventh title.
