RACE 1 (1,650M)

1 Top Ace drops to Class 5 for the first time at his 31st Hong Kong start, a treat for the Italian Group 3 winner who will have Joao Moreira astride. Looks hard to beat.

7 Soccer Brave won for the third time in Hong Kong last start, again at a big price. He can run well again.

11 Jimson The Famous is likely to be around the mark with Zac Purton sticking solid with the horse.

9 Lucky Win Win ran a better race last time out down in grade. He could make it into the placings from the inside gate.

RACE 2 (1,000M)

8 Bumble Baby is drawn to take advantage again and should be hard to beat this time around.

3 Gentle Breeze ran boldly on debut. He won't have to have improved much to figure.

2 Goko was beaten by Bumble Baby and Gentle Breeze last start but still ran well enough to be in the mix.

6 Fame And Fortune has shown enough at the trials to figure first-up.

RACE 3 (2,000M)

5 Sangria is racing in great form and another win doesn't appear far away. This is not the strongest race and he has no weight on his back.

2 Fiama is heading for Class 2 and can make a step towards that grade here.

4 New Elegance steps up to 2,000m, which should suit.

9 Good Days returns to the Sha Tin 2,000m, where he is one for one.

RACE 4 (1,200M)

1 Star Of Patch has ability and is ready to win this, even after a period on the sidelines.

2 Honest Way is getting his act right and is sure to be in the mix.

5 Victory Power has a good draw for his Sha Tin debut and won't be far away.

7 Absolucool disappointed as favourite on debut. He has a wide gate but can improve.

RACE 5 (1,650M)

2 Chater Thunder has won twice and finished second once from five course-and-distance tries. Drawn well, he should be very hard to beat.

11 Elusive State is always capable of bobbing up in races like this.

6 Gouten Of Garo is a chance if circumstances are favourable.

13 Lucky Shiny Day has little form, but this course and distance could see noticeable improvement.

RACE 6 (1,400M)

6 Picken has trialled well and looks well-prepared for his debut. He's drawn well, too. A winning chance.

9 Care Free Prince has come around at his last two starts. Expect him to be in front at some point.

1 Royal Mojito drops to Class 4 for the first time. He's run some creditable races up in grade.

7 Viva Council is racing well and should be around the mark again.

RACE 7 (1,200M)

3 Good Standing looks to have returned far stronger from a break. His Australian form was good and this is a winnable race for him.

9 Mission Tycoon won nicely two starts back before just falling short last time out in a strong Class 2. He's tough to beat with Moreira atop.

12 Raging Storm has won three of his first five starts. He's right in contention again.

5 Seven Heavens ran well last start behind Hot King Prawn and is likely to be around the mark.

RACE 8 (1,200M)

2 California Gungho was an impressive winner of two starts in France. He creates interest at his Hong Kong debut.

1 Cruising ran a bold race on debut and could be hard to beat if he's come on for that effort.

13 Little Bird raced clear to win by almost four lengths last start. With no weight, he's a chance again.

11 My Power gets Purton aboard for his Hong Kong debut. He's one to watch.

RACE 9 (1,650M)

7 Goldfield was a Group 1 winner on dirt in Argentina, winning that country's Derby, the Gran Premio Nacional, over 2,500m at Palermo in 2016. He creates interest and he might be worth a bet.

11 Remarkable has won three from four on dirt. With luck, he'll be somewhere around the mark.

9 Nuclear Power has placed in all three course-and-distance runs, but he has not been able to win. With no weight, he's a chance.

3 Cheerful Star had trialled well leading into his debut, but was abysmal at his first start here. Purton is an intriguing booking and it makes him one to keep safe.

RACE 10 (1,400M)

7 Encouraging has run well in all of his Hong Kong starts but has only hit the board once. A better draw could see him win.

11 Invincible Fresh is racing well. A second Hong Kong win is near.

5 Comfort Life sprinted nicely last time out. He should get a nice run again and is capable of winning again.

3 Baba Mama is not without a hope on his current mark.
