SINGAPORE - Being a seasoned sailor, Yukie Yokoyama knew something was "off" in the months after a near-death experience at a training camp in Japan in February 2018.

The boat that she and her partner Cheryl Teo were on capsized, and the 1.47m sailor was trapped in the sails. She was sinking, and did not know how she was rescued.
