SINGAPORE - Fresh off their historic success at the Rio Olympics, several members of Fiji's gold medal-winning sevens squad will be in Singapore for the Nov 4-6 Singapore Cricket Club International Rugby sevens (SCC 7s) tournament.
Besides the trio of Apisai Domolailai, Jasa Veremalua and Jerry Tuwai, who will feature for six-time SCC 7s champions Daveta, there will be other top international stars competing at the annual three-day rugby festival at the Padang.
This includes members of the British and South African teams that competed at the recent Olympics, including Blitzboks skipper Kyle Brown who led his country to a bronze medal in Rio.
The 69th edition of the SCC 7s will feature a total of 21 teams from nine countries including Malaysia, France, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand, all vying to lift the Ablitt Cup.
The Straits Times, in partnership with the Singapore Cricket Club, is offering ST readers a chance to catch the SCC 7s action live.
Correctly answer the series of three questions published in ST from Oct 28-30 to win a pair of season-pass tickets (worth a total of $60), autographed official merchandise and an invite to the Nov 6 gala dinner.
Mail all three completed contest forms together with your name, IC and contact number to The Straits Times Sports Desk, 1000 Toa Payoh North, News Centre, Singapore 318994 by 3pm, Wednesday, Nov 2.
Winners will be contacted by phone and can collect their prize on-site at the Padang, SCC 7s ticketing office at main entrance, from 12pm, Nov 4 onwards.
