ORGANISERS of the Sundown Marathon are targeting a record 30,000 participants this year, 2,000 more than last year's race.

Runners will take part across three distances - 10km, the half-marathon and the full marathon (42.195km) - in the sixth edition of Singapore's biggest night running event, which will be held over two days (May 1 and June 31) this time.

A team category has also been included this year while the ultra-marathon (100km) will also make a return after it was cancelled last year.
