A thousand shots a week. That is the number that goal shooter Syntyche Yeo put in to train for this year's Schools National A Division netball season.

Her hard work paid off in yesterday's final, as the 17-year-old Year 1 student from Anglo-Chinese Junior College (ACJC) scored more than three-quarters of her team's points for a 38-34 victory over Raffles Institution (RI).
