Boxer Ridhwan fights to recover owed fight purse, free himself from Ringstar contract

Two months ago, a conflicted Muhamad Ridhwan shuffled through Changi Airport's Terminal Two. Luggage in one hand, ticket in the other, Singapore's top local professional boxer was scheduled to depart for a two-month training camp in the Philippines.

But he never boarded his flight. As the Cebu Pacific plane took off for Manila, Ridhwan remained grounded, sitting in the departure hall staring at his smartphone, waiting for a peace of mind that never arrived.
