The OCBC Singapore Pro Cycling team's trio of riders competing at the SEA Games now have extra impetus to go for gold when the event kicks off on Wednesday.

OCBC Bank will award the cyclists a bonus for each podium finish in Myanmar, giving Goh Choon Huat, Ho Jun Rong and Low Ji Wen $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000 for gold, silver and bronze respectively.

The three and team-mate Darren Low, who does not ride for the OCBC team, form the four-man road-racing squad. They are competing in the 100km team time trial and 163km road race, and are gunning to clinch the Republic's first team time-trial medal at the biennial Games.

The quartet are considered Singapore's strongest Games line-up in six years.
