SNOC says marathon runner Soh put 'disingenuous spin' on Games criteria

The Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) has responded via its lawyers to national marathoner Soh Rui Yong, stating that "determinations of attitude, behaviour" and the ability to serve as an example to youths are "always subjective in nature".

These subjective factors have been part of its selection criteria since 2003, said the letter from Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP, who is representing the SNOC, on Thursday.
