Singapore chalked up their second win in as many games at the Mission Foods Asian Netball Championships today when they saw off Vietnam 84-8 in their Group A fixture.
Goalshooter Charmaine Soh was again the star of the reigning champions' attack, sinking 28 shots out of 35 attempts, while goal attacker Chen Huifen chipped in with 23 goals from 29 tries.
Chen Lili, and Natalie Long and Melissa Teo wrapped up the scoring for the Republic with 16, 11 and six goals respectively.
The visitors, who are making their debut at the regional competition, chalked up their first goals through Kieu Vu Khuong Uyen (four), Bui Thi Huyen Trang (three) and Vo Nguyen Lan Thanh (one).
Singapore will face Hong Kong on Wednesday.
