Singapore's netballers will play for the Nations Cup trophy on Saturday, after a 75-23 thrashing of the United States on Friday night at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall.
The hosts will play Uganda, whom they had lost 32-60 to in the round-robin stage.
Singapore were tops in the group phase after posting four victories and one loss in the six-nation tournament.
Uganda, despite forfeiting one match owing to a delayed arrival in Singapore, equalled Papua New Guinea on points but beat the Oceania team to the final berth based on a superior goal average.
This is the fourth time the Republic will achieve at least a top-two finish at the annual tournament, having won it in the inaugural 2006 edition, in 2007 and finishing runner-up to Fiji in 2011.
