Murray, Schumi fighting their own battles

Even in the best of times, observing the decline of our sporting champions can seem like intruding on private grief.

During this first week of 2019, Andy Murray stepped back into he public arena. Between one win and one loss in Brisbane, the former No. 1 tennis player reduced to 240th in the world rankings said he simply doesn't know if he can ever again play at his best.
