THE much-anticipated mixed martial art (MMA) rematch between Singapore's Sherilyn Lim and Malaysia's Ann Osman has been cancelled as Lim failed to make weight on Thursday's weigh-in for the One Fighting Championship's War of Nations event.

The 23-year-old weighed in at 55.1kg for their 52kg contest in a rare incident where a fighter fails to make weight.

Lim had won the previous fight against Ann, 26, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last October.

Friday's event at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will continue with nine other bouts, including the main fight between Brock Larson and Nobutatsu Suzuki for the ONE FC Welterweight World Championship.
