Squash players disappointed after SEA Games doubles events scrapped due to building delays

Singapore squash's golden SEA Games hopes have been dealt a blow, with all doubles events at the Nov 30-Dec 11 Games in the Philippines axed as the courts will not be built in time.

The news was made official on Tuesday, with organisers informing the Singapore National Olympic Council of the venue switch - from the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in the capital to the Manila Polo Club - and issuing a new technical handbook.
