Rikako Ikee took just 25.43 seconds in the pool to complete her last race of the 18th Asian Games but spent hours out of the water speaking to the media, all of whom were clamouring to hear from the first woman to win six golds at a single Asiad.

After winning the 50m freestyle in a Games record of 25.43 on Friday, she said: "I really hate losing, I probably won that more through sheer willpower."
