Tropaios, with jockey Tommy Berry astride, won the $1.35 million Longines Singapore Gold Cup on Sunday.

The Michael Freedman-trained gelding beat pre-race favourite Wild Geese in the 2,200m race.

In second place was Orakei Korako, ridden by Barend Vorster and third was Dragonfly, trained by Leticia Dragon.
