Despite a slow start, race favourite Better Life stormed to victory at the $1.15 million Emirates Singapore Derby on Sunday evening.
The four-year-old mare made a break with 300m left to finish ahead of Wild Geese, who was 1 1/4 lengths adrift.
Tropaios took third spot at the Kranji racecourse, while Raziyya Of Sydney claimed fourth place.
Better Life, which is trained by Hideyuki Takaoka and ridden by Alan Munro, has now won eight of her 14 races.
