Hockey player Faris set for German stint
He has inked a one-year deal with a third-tier team helmed by ex-national coach Casoojee

After seeing his seniors like Nur Ashriq Ferdaus and Enrico Marican play for Belgian and Spanish clubs in 2011 and 2017-2018 respectively, national hockey player Ahmad Faris Johari wanted to follow in their footsteps.
With the pandemic halting many team sports for much of the last two years, Faris wanted to increase his playing time and applied to Club zur Vahr Bremen in Germany, who are helmed by former national coach Solomon Casoojee.
