Trainer Clements excited about his smart 3YO with a bright future

With the benefit of two good runs behind smart horses, Iron Ruler made it third-time lucky at Kranji last night.

It was the experience that saw trainer Michael Clements' three-year-old carve out a fighting victory under a vigorous ride by New Zealand jockey Alysha Collett in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden event over 1,400m on the Long Course B.
