Steal the spotlight, induce roars - just another day for Tiger

He's a show-stopper, a scene-stealer, a head-turner. Even when he comes second, he somehow comes first. "Tiger Woods finishes second to Brooks Koepka in the PGA Championship" blares the Washington Post headline. You have to grin.

Rafael Nadal battles Stefanos Tsitsipas and England's swinging cricketers leave India giddy, but Woods transcends sport. At 9.30am I looked at The Guardian website's most-viewed stories and even the Turkish crisis and white supremacists trailed "Koepka sees off Woods to clinch win - as it happened".
