Golf: 'Super Six' ready to put on a show at HSBC Women's Champions

THE world's top six ranked players have confirmed their attendance for the 2015 HSBC Women's Champions at the Sentosa Golf Club.

Park Inbee (1), Lydia Ko (2), Stacy Lewis (3), Feng Shanshan (4), Suzann Pettersen (5) and Michelle Wie (6) will do battle at "Asia's Major" from March 5 to 8, seeking to topple defending champion and crowd favourite Paula Creamer.

The American had secured the title last year with the shot of the season, sinking an epic 75-foot eagle putt in a play-off with Spain's Azahara Munoz.

South Korea's Park, a four-time Major winner, is eagerly awaiting her return to the tricky Serapong course. She said: "This is one of the tournaments I really look forward to each year. Singapore is a fantastic city and the tournament has a 'major' feel to it with HSBC putting on a world-class event."

2013 Women's Champions winner Lewis added: "I really enjoy this event and am proud of having won two years ago. I would like to win this again. It is a great tournament and so many of the world's best players will be there again in March so I am excited to get back to Singapore to see if I can repeat my performance of 2013!"
