Golf: Feng dominates to win in Dubai

DUBAI (AFP) - China's world No. 5 Feng Shanshan, the highest-ranked golfer in the field, completed a wire-to-wire victory at the 500,000 euros (S$817,500) Ladies European Masters in Dubai on Saturday.

She closed with a two-under 70 and tallied 19-under 269 for the four days.

She won the 2012 edition of the tournament with a record winning total of 21-under par.

Spain's Carlota Ciganda finished second at 14-under, while Germany's Caroline Masson was a shot behind in third place.

England's Charley Hull wrapped up the Order of Merit crown when she finished tied fifth at 10-under par, while Wales' Amy Boulden was the Rookie of the Year.
