Chile's Felipe Aguilar fired a sensational final round of 10-under 62 to win The Championship at Laguna National on Sunday.

The 39-year-old, who holed out from 140 yards for an eagle on the par-four 18th, finished one stroke ahead of Denmark's Anders Hansen (67) and David Lipsky (65) from the United States.

"What can I say - that's the most unbelievable finish I've ever had to a round," said Aguilar, who last won on the European Tour at the 2008 Indonesia Open. "I got lucky with some shots, but I think I deserve some luck to end this trophy drought."

Thailand's Panuphol Pittayarat, who led on the first three days, struggled at crunch-time to card a disappointing 74, finishing tied-11th.

Singapore's Quincy Quek (77) claimed 70th spot at the $1.89 million event, while compatriot Lam Chih Bing (71) ended joint-47th.
