JOEY Poh, 19, and Ji Jiali, 27, share the opening-round lead at the Singapore qualifiers for golf's HSBC Women's Champions tournament.
Both carded a five-over 77 on Wednesday to take into Thursday's final round.
The duo are two shots ahead of Christabel Goh and Heng Su-Ann, who are tied for third place on the Serapong course at the Sentosa Golf Club (SGC).
A total of 10 players are vying for the sole Singaporean spot at the Women's Champions, which will be held at SGC for the first time from Feb 28 to March 3. The event had been held at Tanah Merah Country Club since 2008.
This year's edition will feature more than 60 of the world's elite female golfers, including world No. 1 Tseng Ya-ni and world No. 5 Feng Shanshan, the first Chinese golfer to win a Major.
