SINGAPORE – After an intense few days at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, Chinese golfer Ding Wenyi arrived in Singapore from Thailand.

But after touching down in Singapore at 3pm on Wednesday, instead of taking a break, the 17-year-old headed straight to the driving range at Laguna National Golf Resort Club to practise.
