Giant-killer Loh Kean Yew urges juniors to 'dream bigger' after win over Olympic champion Lin Dan

In the aftermath of his Thailand Masters win over Lin Dan last Sunday, Singapore shuttler Loh Kean Yew penned a 292-word Whatsapp message, not to his family, friends or fans, but to his juniors in the national intermediate squad (NIS).

The 21-year-old thanked them for their support and encouraged them to "dream bigger".
