National sports agency Sport Singapore said yesterday it is working together with SportsHub Pte Ltd (SHPL) to "get to the nub" of issues that have plagued the Sports Hub, as the two parties work towards making the venue one "that all Singaporeans can be proud of".

The statement was made by a SportSG spokesman, in response to queries by The Straits Times on the overall performance of SHPL in managing the $1.33 billion facility, which opened its doors in June 2014.
