Singapore's junior go-kart racer Ryan Chapman, 11, tried his hand at a race-car simulator at the Esso Synergy Race Off event at ION Orchard yesterday, and clocked one of the day's fastest times. The event celebrates Esso's recent launch of its Synergy range of fuels and its involvement with motor sports over the years. The 10 participants with the fastest times at the simulator will get a chance to qualify for a spot in the virtual race against McLaren-Honda driver Jenson Button at a finale event on Sept 16.
