Thrills and spills in Brazil point to closer 2020 battle

There's absolutely no doubt that millions of television viewers across the globe - not to mention the thousands of spectators in Interlagos - were riveted by the closing laps of a hugely dramatic Brazilian Grand Prix. I wasn't exactly a calm observer myself!

Max Verstappen might have been a shoo-in for his eighth victory, and a very timely success which coincided with the anniversary of the birth of engine supplier Soichiro Honda. But events in his Red Bull's wake certainly stirred things up. And they thrust a couple of unfamiliar faces into the limelight.
