Hamilton almost there after Verstappen's failed moves and Mercedes' superb strategy

Red Bull and Ferrari dominated not only qualifying in Mexico, as expected, but also had better race pace in practice than Mercedes, who have traditionally struggled on this tyre-sensitive circuit in the past few years.

So how did Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes end up dominating the race on Sunday (Oct 27) to score his 83rd victory and 10th of the season, their 100th podium together, and Mercedes' 100th win and 5,000th constructors' points?
