All in all, the French Grand Prix was better than either the Monaco or the Canadian races. There was, for example, some spectacular, crowd-pleasing action in the first corner, and several people managed to pull off some pretty decent overtaking manoeuvres.
And though it might have been a slightly frustrating story of what might have been, as Lewis Hamilton won as he pleased without real opposition, such uncertainty is much better than predictability.
