With the 2013 Formula One SingTel Singapore Grand Prix less than three weeks away, race organiser Singapore GP on Monday gave some 16 secondary school students an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek at life at the circuit park.

The tour was part of the Rev Up Singapore! initiative, which aims to bring F1 to the masses.

Made up of students from Montfort Secondary and Woodlands Secondary, the group was taken on a tour of Zone 1, which includes the Paddock area, team garages, podium and the race control room.

Joining them on the 90-minute tour was Mr S. Iswaran, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry.
