Forget the World Cup, let's invest in Asean athletes

Fifty bullets. It's roughly all Hoang Xuan Vinh had on some days to fire. Fifty when athletes in some other nations had 300. Fifty which meant the Vietnamese shooter spent time before the Rio Olympics just pointing his pistol at a target and correcting his stance.

I know this because my colleague Jonathan Wong travelled to Hanoi in the summer of 2016 to profile the brilliant Vinh. When Wong told me the story I sighed.
